With more than 25 years of executive level experience that spans the commercial and not-for-profit, entertainment, and speaking industries, Marianne Woods understands the intricacies of delivering the right talent and message for her client’s audience. She continuously scouts intriguing, new speakers with unique stories.

Marianne has established a diverse network of contacts in the entertainment industry, as well as with professional speakers, trainers and facilitators. She has strong client relationships across industries and institutions including finance, insurance, YPO-WPO, manufacturing, associations, school boards, not-for-profits and more.

Her early entertainment experiences hail from her time at the O’Keefe Centre, now the Meridian Hall, where she successfully negotiated contracts with large agencies such as Disney, Wm. Morris Agency, D-Tours, Columbia Artist Management Inc., and S.L. Feldman. Marianne’s expertise also lent itself to artist contract negotiations through which she closed deals across the entertainment industry.

Marianne served a three-year term as a Director on the Board of Canadian Arts Presenters Association/L’Association canadienne des organismes artistiques (CAPACOA), an association serving the live touring industry in Canada. She went on to chair CAPACOA’s 15th Anniversary Conference in Ottawa, which annually attracts presenters, artists, agents and venues from across Canada and the United States. In addition, she served on committees for Canadian Music Week, Vanier Cup Awards, Gardiner Awards, and Toronto Jr. Board of Trade Leadership in Action.
